The Edythe Bates Old Recital Hall and Grand Organ is located in Alice Pratt Brown Hall, Entrance 12 off Rice Blvd., across from Rice Stadium. The organ is comparable in size and complexity to organs at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas and at Stanford University. It will be used for teaching andperformance in Rice’s Shepherd School of Music.
