first_imgDenis Sheridan of Donegal-based DS Environmental Services is Boston bound next month to establish strong links with US companies.DS Environmental Services is one of 15 companies who will be showcasing the North West’s ‘entrepreneurship and innovation’ when they travel to Boston Massachusetts next month as part of a joint collaboration between Councils in Donegal and Derry/Strabane.The trip is part of the region’s strategy to promote inward investment and provide local businesses access to potential export opportunity. DS Environmental Services Ltd provides professional and certified environmental cleaning services throughout the north west of Ireland. These include mobile sludge de-watering, cleaning and decommissioning of hazardous waste, disposal and recycling of waste oils and reservoir cleaning.The company use cutting-edge technology for their specialised services and are constantly researching and developing new systems. DS Environmental Services are also winners of Donegal Enterprise Board ‘Business of the Year’ 2009, ‘Intertrade Ireland Award QUB’ 2013 and ‘Letterkenny Chamber Innovation Award’ 2015.Director at DS Environmental Services Denis SheridanSpeaking ahead of participating in the Boston trade mission, Denis Sheridan, Director at DS Environmental Services, said: “We decided to participate in the North West delegation to Boston as we have never traded outside of Europe before and we are eager to make contacts and hopefully discover new technologies in the American marketplace.“Over the years we have carried out a lot of research and development projects in the environmental sector.
