Women’s Golf Closes Out Play At Redbird Invitational
NORMAL, Ill. – The Drake University women’s golf team finished in 12th-place out of 14 teams at the Redbird Invitational on Monday. Madison Glennie shot an even par in the front-nine and finished her day with a 76 ( 4), placing tied for 28th-place with a score of 231 (80-75-76). Dunn finished one shot behind Glennie for the day for a total score of 233 (79-77-77), tied for 33rd. Freshman Sigurlaug Jonsdottir carded an 82 on the final day for a score of 238 (78-78-82). Brooke Miller rebounded for a tough second round to shoot an 81 in her final round for a score of 246 (77-88-81), while freshman Aimee Gerschke rounded out the team’s effort with a score of 248 (76-84-88). The Bulldogs concluded the 54-hole event with a score of 940 (310-314-316), while Boston College claimed the team title with a score of 890.
