Pogba likely out for ‘a few weeks’, -Mourinho
Mourinho is yet to receive confirmation on the nature and severity of the injury, but believes Pogba could be out of contention for a few weeks.“I don’t know (what the severity is),” Mourinho told MUTV. “I just know from experience it’s a muscular injury.“In my experience, muscular injury stops you from playing for a few weeks, I think. It looks for me too (like a hamstring injury) but I haven’t spoken yet to the medical department.“Squads are for this, squads are for injuries, squads are for suspensions. We don’t cry with injuries. So if no Paul for Sunday, we have (Ander) Herrera, we have (Michael) Carrick, we have Fellaini and we have (Nemanja) Matic.”Image:0Shares0000(Visited 1 times, 1 visits today) 0Shares0000Manchester United’s Paul Pogba sits injured during their UEFA Champions League Group A match against Basel, at Old Trafford in Manchester, on September 12, 2017MANCHESTER, United Kingdom, Sep 13 – Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that star midfielder Paul Pogba could be sidelined for weeks with a muscular injury. The France international lasted only 18 minutes on Tuesday night, in the 3-0 win over Basel in the Champions League group stage, before limping off with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.
